Don Jazzy ignores D’Banj on stage
D’banj as a singer and Don Jazzy the producer used to be the perfect team as the honchos of Mo’hits Records. But like a bolt from the blue, their hitherto smooth relationship collapsed in 2012 like a pack of badly arranged cards.
Don-jazzy-Dbanj
Ever since, fans and colleagues in the music industry have been begging the duo to come back together and rework their magic.
However, what could have been the perfect opportunity for the two heavyweights to address the issue came to pass on Sunday, September 20,at the Eko Hotel-venue of 2face Idibia’s Fortyfied Concert.
D’banj mounted the stage to perform some of his hit songs to the delight of the audience, and halfway through, he said he was going to perform a song, ‘Feeling Good’ produced by Don Jazzy and featuring 2face that was leaked online before it could be properly released.
He beckoned on Don Jazzy to join him on stage to perform the song, but Jazzy remained glued to his seat with new Mavin signees, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, and Dija.
Even when 2face begged the duo to produce one more hit together, Don Jazzy remained resolute. In 2face’s words, ‘Don Jazzy and D’banj, abeg make una do one more song, just one…. I take God beg una.’
D’banj instantly responded with the words, “Sure! It’s going to happen,” while Don Jazzy still remained on his seat without even a smile.
This led many of the guests in attendance to insinuate that D’banj was more eager for a come-back than Don Jazzy is.

Korede Bello Performs In Church Again, Receives Prayer From Pastor (Photos)
Mavin act, Korede Bello has once again performed at another Church service despite the view of some fans that a secular musician should not be allowed to mount a pulpit and sing in the church.
He performed last weekend at Embrace International Assembly in Lagos.
Korede first appearance as a performing act in a Church was at HICC (Harvesters International Christian Centre) where he sang his smash hitGodwin.
When he was criticized for his actions, the Young singer said that he was going to perform in a church again.
In an earlier interview with NET, he said;
“If you are the pastor of a church and you invite me to perform the song, Yes I will perform the song again.
“It’s God’s song and whatever is happening now is predetermined, people are talking about God that’s all that matters”.
“From the inception of Godwin, I knew that it wasn’t my song, I knew that anything that’s for God has the potential of growing bigger than you imagine. It’s not quite a gospel song, it’s an inspirational song, what I mean by it’s for God is the fact that it’s dedicated to God. I don’t see it as my song, I see it as people’s song and I see it as a song for God.”

In open letter, Swift criticizes 'shocking' Apple Music
In an open letter to Apple, Taylor Swift has criticized the company's new streaming music service for failing to pay artists for a free three-month trial.
Writing on her Tumblr page Sunday in a posting titled "To Apple, Love Taylor," Swift said she would withhold her 2014 album "1989" from Apple Music, which launches June 30. The pop star called Apple's plan not to compensate artists, writers or producers during the three-month trial "shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company.
Swift said she was speaking up for the music community at large, not for her own personal gain. Three months, she said, "is a long time to go unpaid." Last November, Swift also pulled "1989" off Spotify.
Apple did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Top 20 Richest Musicians In Nigeria And Their Net Worth
Music has been paying heavily in
Nigeria for the past ten years. No
wonder average Nigerian youths
sees music as the quick means to
wealth and fame.
Why not! When a good number of
artistes have risen from nothing to
something over the years, enjoying
wealth that can only be imagined
by average people.
The question is Who is the richest
among these musicians and how
much are they worth?
In music, your popularity
determines your worth, you don’t
make poo if you are not popular.
How do we determine the
popularity of an artiste? Do not let
their noises or that of their fans
deafen your ears, some aren’t
worth that much, while some worth
so much.
The number one means of knowing
how popular a musician or music
is, is by checking out it’s YouTube
stat.
If you are popular, it will show on
your YouTube views, no
manipulation.
And if you have a great stat on
YouTube, you are a great artiste,
making good money.
Another means is through awards
but since most music awards are
heavily manipulated, we are going
to skip awards and use other
means such as endorsement and
ability to pull crowed and
command good appearance fee.
Self promotion isn’t gonna count
in this rating.
Here I present to you the top 20
richest musicians in Nigeria and
their estimated net worth.
This list is the most detailed and
most accurate you can find
anywhere on the internet. Enjoy!
20. Patoranking – This guy is making
name for himself in the music
industry in Nigeria and it’s not
surprising that he made the top 20
richest musicians in Nigeria despite
that it’s not been quite long since
he breaks into the limelight.
His hit song (Girlie O) featuring
Tiwa Savage has grossed over 4
million views on YouTube as the
time this article was being written.
Patoranking’s net worth is
estimated to be – N350,000,000
19. Olamide – One of the craziest
rapper in Nigeria and Africa. So
crazy he called himself Badoo.
Olamide has built name and
fortune for himself in the music
industry in Nigeria. Right from the
first day I heard him first song, I
knew he was gonna make it in the
music industry.
His song with the highest YouTube
views is “Eleda Mi” with 1.2
million views. He was able to over
take Patoranking due to the fact he
has multiple single with collective
views of more than 5million.
He is believed be to be the
mastermind behind the rise of
Shoki. Olamide’s current net worth
is put at – N560,000,000
18. Chidinma Ekile – Chidinma has
one thing going for her – she is
extremely likeable.
That alone has skyrocketed her take
home performance fees and worth
to an enviable position.
From a mere contestant in MTN
Project Fame to a household name
in Nigeria, Chidinma has created
wealth that her peers could only
dream about.
Her biggest video to date is
“Kedike” with 1.2 million YouTube
hit, followed by “Oh Baby”
featuring Falvour with 600,000
views. And collective views of
about 5 million. Chidinma’s net
worth is put at – N572,000,000
17. Duncan Mighty – He has refused
to step an inch away from the
Niger Delta oil. With unique beats,
superior voice quality, and dance
step to match, Duncan Mighty is
considered one of the most
successful artistes ever come out of
the Niger Delta.
He most popular song on
YouTube.com is “Obianuju” and
“Port Harcourt Boy” which has
collective views of 3.1 million.
With strong affiliation to the Niger
Delta politicians, Duncan mighty is
estimated to worth – N700,000,000.
16. Yemi Alade – How she made it? I
don’t know, but she is currently the
biggest female musician in Nigeria
after Tiwa Savage and may
overtake Tiwa in a couple of years
if not months.
The first day I heard “Jonny”
played in my car by one of the
Nigerian F.M Station, I knew
something serious was about to hit
us.
Yemi currently has the most
successful and most popular music
video by any African female artiste
on YouTube. The total views for
“JONNY” as at this time is
13,435,171. Yemi Alade’s current
net worth is N820 million.
15. Ice Prince – He broke into the
limelight with “Oleku” featuring
Brymo which currently has 3.1
million views on YouTube.
Ice Prince Zamani is one of the
finest rapper in Nigeria. To me, he
is better than M.I in terms of flow.
Few days ago, the picture of when
he was younger and hustling hit the
internet and you can see how far
she has been transformed from a
naive young boy to a world class
superstar! Ice prince net worth is –
N870,000,000.
14. Phyno – The only hardcore
rapper I’ve ever seen in Africa. He
does it like no other, providing new
dimension to rap music in Nigeria.
Phyno is to the Igbos what Olamide
is for Yorubas but he does it in a
completely different fashion.
So good that rap haters like me is
forced to like rap music.
Phyno is a genius. Everyone wants
to collaborate with Phyno for good
reasons. He is hot in the market.
Phyno’s net worth is put at –
N900,000,000.
13. Tiwa Savage – Welcome the
queen of music in Nigeria, the sexy
mama, the first lady of Mavins
Record! Tiwa Savage is among the
very few Nigerian artistes whose
average video is grossing over 1
million on YouTube. She currently
has about five videos with more
than a million views each.
Eminado is currently doing 7+
million.
Her net worth is – N970,000,000
and may soon crossover to billion
in this rating within the next couple
of months.
12. KCee – Currently making serious
wave in the Nigerian music scene,
KCee, formerly a member of the
KCPresh is one of the most
fortunate guys in the industry. He
picked the right beat at the right
time, and the rest has become
history.
His hit songs “Limpopo” and “Pull
Over” are currently on 14.5 million
views collectively on YouTube.
KCee net worth is – N983,000,000
11. M.I – Regarded as the most
successful rap artiste ever in Africa,
M.I has built a reputation that will
be too difficult for anyone to
surmount. He is among the major
stakeholders in Chocolate City
Records and is credited with the
rise to fame of Ice Prince Zamani.
For the sake of the record label and
the stars that came through it, we
are placing MI at number 11 on
this list. His current net worth is –
N988,000,000.
10. Timaya – Timaya’s vocal power
is unmatched in the industry. He is
one one the best and probably the
most successful music star ever
come out of the Niger Delta area.
Far more successful than Daniel
Wilson and others. He is truly the
“Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa”.
One of his hit track “Sanko” is
about to hit 2 million views while
his biggest hit “Bum Bum”
featuring Sean Paul has already
grossed over 16 million on
YouTube. Timaya net worth is –
N1.1billion
09. Banky W – Two best music videos
ever done in Nigeria to his credit
(Lagos Party and Wizkid’s Holla at
ur Boy) and a serious record label
of his own, Banky W is surely a
force to reckon with in the Music
business in Nigeria.
From Etisalat to Samsung, he has
the knack to land juicy
endorsement deals anytime. Started
with a copycat of Rihanna’s song,
he graduated to international
superstar, doing original songs and
winning awards. Banky W net
worth is – N1.8 billion.
08. Wizkid – From a backup [like]
artiste to Banky W, Wizkid was
transformed into international
mega star by just one music video –
Holla at ur Boi! That video created
the defining moment in his career
and today, he is the Wizkid you
and I know.
Widely regarded as the Austine
Bieber of Nigeria, Wizkid one of
the stars in the industry that many
upcoming artistes look up to, to be
just like him. What he lacks in
vocal talent, he makes up in
personality appeal. Wizkid net
worth is – N2.3 billion.
07. Iyanya – From a hungry project
fame ex-winner to international
famous superstar within the space
of three years. Iyanya has shown
that if you want to be successful in
Nigeria, give them what they want
and you will be blessed with
wealth.
Iyanya’s hit song (“Kukere”
complete with it’s one unique
dance step) currently has more
than 15 million views on YouTube.
His net worth is – N2.5 billion.
06. Davido – What he lacks in
physical appeal, he makes up with
great vocal talent – the twisted
version of Wizkid. Davido is one
musician in Nigeria that I so much
like his vocal talent, he is a singer
and song maker extraordinaire.
His two songs “Aye” and “Gobe”
are currently having 15 million and
11 million respectively on YouTube.
Son of a politician and business
man, Davido’ net worth is – N2.9
billion.
05. Tu Face – The one everyone
respects in the industry. Tu Face
has become the present day legend
in African pop culture. By the time
he hangs his trumpet, he will be
studied in universities across
Africa. African Queen remains his
biggest hit ever, meaning that this
legend lives largely in the past
glory
He has not been able to do another
song more popular than the famous
African Queen or even close to it’s
popularity. But what he lacks in hit
songs, he makes up in
reproduction, building future
generation of Idibias. Tu Face net
worth is – N4.5 billion.
04. D’Banj – From life in the streets
of The United Kingdom to MoHit
and one of the biggest superstar
Nigeria has ever seen. D’Banj has
proved that what you need to
become successful is in you. You
don’t need to look for it elsewhere,
it’s within you.
His biggest song ever is the last
song produced by Don Jazzy, Oliver
Twist. It dethroned P-Square’s
songs temporally in 2013 as the
highest viewed Nigerian song on
YouTube before Personally from P-
Square reclaimed the number one
spot. D’Banj net worth is – N5
billion.
03. Flavour – Virtually every artistes
in the industry has featured
Flavour in the songs. His vocal
ability is unrivaled.
He is one of the very best the
industry has ever seen. From the
moment he picked up the guitar,
you now he is destined to the top.
Flavour Nabalia is one like no other
and no one could mimic him
successfully no matter how hard
you try. He is the one and only
Flavour, and after him there may
be no other Flavour.
He has everything going for him.
His physical appeal, pure vocal
talent, and mastery of the music
instruments, Flavour is everything
others desires to be. His current
net worth is – N5.7 billion
02. Don Jazzy – The only musician in
this list with no song to call his
own. Yet, he command so much
respect and money that even the
best in the industry dare not ask
who is he.
Don Jazzy is builder, a producer
extraordinaire and industry
pacesetter. Whatever thing he lays
his hands on becomes gold. He
produced D’Banj to international
superstar, and when D’Banj left, he
produced other superstars.
Dorobucci, Eminado, Sulurere,
Banana – these are are some of the
major hits he produced after the
MoHit saga. Don Jazzy net worth is
– N7 billion.
01. P-Square – No one does it like P-
Square in the music industry in
Nigeria! When you think they’ve
done their best, they come up with
something completely different.
They have no competition, they
only compete with themselves.
Outside Akon, P-Square is the
biggest music stars ever come out of
Africa – dead or alive!
You may ask, how about Fela,
Ndiaye, Lucky Dube, Blenda Fassie,
and Awilo Logomba? Well, they are
all legends of music in Africa but
when it comes to earning and
popularity allover Africa, they are
no match to P-Square with all due
respect. This is based on facts and
figures.
Pick up the all times African top 10
music video on YouTube, P-Square
alone has 5, leaving the other 5 for
the entire artistes in Africa to
share!
Chop my money = 24 million+.
Do me = 14 million+.
Personally = 35 million+.
Beautiful Onyinye = 21 million+.
Alingo = 7 million+.
The only celebrities in the Nigerian
entertainment industry that has
mansion in Banana Island. They
are the Cristiano Ronaldo and
Lionel Messi of African music.
The only artistes in Africa you can
not book with less than $100,000.
P-Square net worth is – N25.6
billion.

China Bans Ramadan Fasting In Mainly Muslim Region [See Why]
China has banned civil servants,
students and teachers in its mainly
Muslim Xinjiang region from
fasting during Ramadan and
ordered restaurants to stay open.
Most Muslims are required to fast
from dawn to dusk during the holy
month, which began on Thursday,
but China’s ruling Communist party
is officially atheist and for years
has restricted the practice in
Xinjiang, home to the mostly
Muslim Uighur minority.
“Food service workplaces will
operate normal hours during
Ramadan,” said a notice posted last
week on the website of the state
Food and Drug Administration in
Xinjiang’s Jinghe county.
Officials in the region’s Bole county
were told: “During Ramadan do not
engage in fasting, vigils or other
religious activities,” according to a
local government website report of
a meeting this week.
Each year, the authorities’ attempt
to ban fasting among Uighur
Muslims in Xinjiang receives
widespread criticism from rights
groups.
China imposes restrictions on
Muslim Uighurs
Uighur rights groups say China’s
restrictions on Islam in Xinjiang
have added to ethnic tensions in
the region, where clashes have
killed hundreds in recent years.
China says it faces a “terrorist
threat” in Xinjiang, with officials
blaming “religious extremism” for
the growing violence.
Dangote still interested in buying Arsenal
Lagos - Africa's richest businessman, Aliko
Dangote, has confirmed he intends to lodge a
bid to become majority shareholder of English
Premier League giants Arsenal.
The Nigerian billionaire is close to completing
an oil refinery in his homeland, which would in
turn finance his plans to purchase the north
London club.
Dangote, who is ranked 67th on the Forbes rich
list with an estimated wealth of £11.5bn, told
BBC Hausa: "When we get this refinery on
track, I will have enough time and enough
resources to pay what they (Arsenal) are asking
for."
Also read : Dangote to own Arsenal?
The entrepreneur had previously been interested
in purchasing the 15.9 percent stake sold to
Stan Kroenke for £123 m in April 2011 but had
to pull out due to various reasons.
Dangote continued: "There were a couple of us
who were rushing to buy, and we thought with
the prices then, the people who were interested
in selling were trying to go for a kill.
"We backtracked, because we were very busy
doing other things, especially our
industrialisation."
“My love for arsenal date back to
about 10years ago when i use to go
and watch them play with the one of
the largest shareholder, Mr David
Dein and i think i develop likeness
for the team and have been a
supporter of the team since 80s. So it
is not an overnight stuff and it is
true we made an effort to buy.
There couple of us who are rushing
to buy and we thought about the
prices then few are interested in
selling are actually trying to get and
we back track because we are very
very busy doing other thing
especially our industralization but
right now things are happening now
especially if we get the refinery on
track , i will have enough time and
put resources to pay what they are
asking for.”
What motivated you to show interest
, is it the fans or profit ?
Dangote: Normally for fans, you
dont go and buy . You know
obviously we are not going to lose
the money. I think Arsenal are doing
well but they need another strategic
direction, they need more direction
than the current issue where they
develop players and selling them.
Their are insinuations that the club
won’t be sold to an African ?
Dangote: what i always say is that
money does’t matter whether you
are an African or not. Anywhere in
the world, the colour of money is the
same thing. Once i put money on the
table, they won’t be bother if you are
an African but it might be a policy
they don’t want an African to own it
which i don’t believe so.
Kanye West furious against Drake for inviting amber at his party
Canadian
rapper Drake threw a party over the week
end in his big L.A mansion and invited
some of his closest friend to welcome
summer. The celebrity-filled party was
attended by Kanye west and…Amber rose,
sources say that hardly had he spotted her,
Yeezy fled.
According to VH1, Kanye is still pissed at
Drake for that shady manoeuvre. And as a
matter a fact, he clearly thinks that drizzy
did it on purpose to set him up. For the
record, Amber and Kanye’s wife can’t
stomach each other, for the simple reason
that Kanye cheated on Amber with Kim and
that Amber subsequently called Kim foul
names on social media and various
interviews.
Vh1 reports:
“Drake made the terrible mistake of inviting
both Kanye West and Amber Rose. Amber
hasn’t been too nice toward Yeezus’
current bae Kim Kardashian, even calling
her a “whore” at one point.”
Sources told VH1’s The Gossip Table as
well that no one told Kanye that Amber was
on her way to the party, and he’s pretty
ticked off about it. ’Ye’s especially POed at
Drake for not giving him the heads up.

Wambach's goal gives US a 1-0 win over Nigeria
VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Abby Wambach scored late in the first half and the U.S. women's national team went on to beat Nigeria 1-0 on Tuesday night for a first-place finish in its group at the Women's World Cup.
It was Wambach's 14th World Cup goal, pulling her even with Birgit Prinz for second on the all-time list behind Brazil's Marta, who has 15.
Wambach came off the bench for the United States in the team's last match against Sweden. Tuesday, she started up top with Alex Morgan, who was making her first World Cup start in Canada after working her way back from a bone bruise in her left knee.
The United States, ranked second in the world behind Germany, has two World Cup titles, but hasn't won since 1999.
Four years ago in Germany, the U.S. advanced to the final but fell to Japan on penalty kicks.
The win sent the United States through as the leader of its group for the sixth time in seven Women's World Cups. The team heads to Edmonton, Alberta, for the first match of the knockout stage. The opponent has not been determined.
Nigeria, which has won seven of nine African championships, has been to every World Cup since it started for the women in 1991. The Super Falcons were eliminated after the loss to the United States after playing to a 3-all draw with Sweden in the opener and falling 2-0 to Australia.
The U.S. opened Group D with a 3-1 victory over No. 10 Australia, before playing to a 0-0 draw with No. 5 Sweden.
Morgan hadn't started a match since April. The speedy 25-year-old played 12 minutes as a sub in the draw with Sweden.
Wambach also came in as a sub in the match against Sweden last Friday. It was the first time she had played off the bench at a World Cup since her first in 2003.
Wambach, who didn't score in the first two U.S. group stage matches, had never gone without a goal in the opening round in four World Cup appearances.
Julie Johnston had the best chance for the United States early, but her strike in the eighth minute was ruled offside. Minutes later, U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo dove to stop Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala's attempt.
Nigerian goalkeeper Precious Dede had to punch Megan Rapinoe's long 25-foot blast in the 17th minute. Johnston battled to catch Oshoala on a fast break, sliding to deflect the ball as Solo charged.
Wambach finally put the United States ahead just before the end of the half when she rushed in on a corner kick from Megan Rapinoe and volleyed the ball into the goal at the far post.
Dede stopped a shot from an onrushing Morgan to open the second half.
A scary moment came when Wambach and Josephine Chukwunoye appeared to bump heads. Wambach got up quickly, but Chukwunoye — who got a yellow card on the play — was helped off but returned a few moments later.
Sydney Leroux, who grew up in the Vancouver area, replaced Morgan in the 65th minute. Leroux, who has an American father, left Canada as a teenager to pursue her goal of playing for the United States.
Nigeria, which was physical all game, was hurt when Sarah Nnodim was sent off with her second yellow of the night for a tackle on Leroux in the 69th minute. That put Nigeria at 10 players for the rest of the match.
Morgan, who has 51 goals in 84 international appearances, had not started in a match since April 11, the season opener for the Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League. Her last start for the United States came in a 4-0 victory over New Zealand in St. Louis, Missouri.
She wore pink tape on her knee during the match.

DETERMINED & SUCCESSFUL KANYE WEST
Over the last few years Kanye West status has constantly evolved. From a simple beatmaker, he became one of the most prominent artists of the hip-hop scene alongside Jay Z, Pharrell, Beyoncé and even graced the cover of Time magazine’s 2015 world’s most influential people issue. To say that this year as been Yeezy’s year is therefore an understatement, The man who has it all (rapper/producer/fashion designer) and managed to glean a wide range of awards throughout his career even earned an honorary degree from school of The Art Institute Of Chicago a month ago, had a collab fashion line with French high end brand APC, and Adidas. On a personal side, he’s a married man, an accomplished doting father who’s in love with his baby girl Nori and allegedly managed to have twins on the way.
Back then infamously known for his rants and erratic demeanor
"KANYE WEST"
Lil Wayne: He signed a deal with Jay Z!
Currently in beef with YMCMB’s boss Birdman, everybody wants to know what Lil Wayne is going to do. On Saturday during the KMEL Summer Jam, Weezy dropped a bomb.
Indeed, during his show, Wayne told the crowd: “I just signed a deal with my motherf*ckin’ idol Jay Z.”
As Weezy previously said, he wants to leave Cash Money. Everybody thought that he had signed a deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation. In fact, the rapper was talking about TIDAL, the streaming platform, and his new position as a TIDAL artist and owner.
Lil Wayne recently released his new song ‘Glory’ exclusively on TIDAL, it is likely to think that Tha Carter V might see the light of the day on the platform too.
To be continued.
Chris Brown and Karrueche: they fight outside of LA club
We all thought that the on-again off-again couple had definitively called it quits a few months ago when Chris’s paternity rumors were confirmed. However it seems that the two lovers are back at it again. Besides the father role he has to play with Royalty, Chris nonetheless needs another kind of love but more than anything someone he can trust and rely on. Given the tense relationship he currently has with his baby mama, not sure he’d be very enthusiastic about the idea of sharing his life with her. So who would be better than Karrueche to support our Breezy? The answer is no one else since the “Loyal ” singer seems to still be very into his ex girlfriend.
Indeed, Chris pulled up to Playhouse Thursday night with his brand new Lambo, and a few minutes later Karrueche showed up too. It seems that both of them attended the same club because the party was hosted by Christina Milian who happens to be Karrueche’s best friend…something Chris was perfectly aware of. Anyway, after the party, Chris didn’t even bother to take back his car but instead him and Karrueche left in the same SUV. And in the video below, one of Karrueche’s friends tells Chris to stay out of the car but the latter refuses, tells her to move to the backseat and hops up in the vehicle anyway.
AFROCANY SLAMS NICKIMINAJ FOR COPYING HER STYLE
US-based Nollywood actress Judith Mazagwu, popularly known as Afrocandy, has an attitude, so is American singer, Nicki Minaj. One common thing to both of them is that neither gives a hoot about how she is seen in public. Both have the knack of leaving their admirers speechless in their choice of style which, more often, is subject of sensual commotion.
Nicki-Minaj
Afrocandy
Though their paths never crossed, it would seem Afrocandy has gone out of her way to ram into the singer when she accused her of copying her dress style. According to her, she had an outfit for a while but because of weight, she had to wait a bit to shed some pounds only for her to see Minaj in that same dress.
“I’ve had this outfit for a while but was waiting to lose weight before I could wear it, then I saw Nicki Minaj wearing a similar outfit.
I said to myself, mmmmh; this person is copying my style. So yesterday, a fan called me. I was complaining about my weight and tummy, he told me not to worry that my fans love me the way I am with the big stomach.
That gave me a lot of confidence even though I hear it all the time. I guess I am gonna stop worrying and flaunt myself the way I am. This is how I am rolling out today, I am bringing sexy look back!”, she wrote on her social handle.
Nicki, who isn’t probably aware of Afrocandy’s outburst, hasn’t responded but many have slammed Afrocandy for craving cheap publicity. See if there is anything close in the dress styles
JURASSIC WORLD EATS BOX OFFICE
The fearsome “Jurassic Park” dinosaurs have done it again, scoring the second-largest North American opening weekend ever with its latest franchise.
Action-packed “Jurassic World,” featuring a new, and particularly lethal hybrid dino, scored a whopping $204.6 million, according to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.
The record for an opening weekend take is held by “Marvel’s The Avengers” at $207 million in 2012.
In addition to Chris Pratt as chief dinosaur-keeper and Bryce Dallas Howard as the park’s overzealous marketing chief, the cast includes a multi-ethnic array of actors.
Co-produced by Steven Spielberg — who directed the first two of the four films — “Jurassic World” takes us back to the island theme park where scientists first revived T-Rex and Co for paying customers more than two decades ago.
It bumped comedy espionage spoof “Spy” to second place, with $16 million.
The movie stars Melissa McCarthy as a CIA analyst with a hohum desk job but a knack for being a discrete hero in risky missions carried out by others.
But this time, she goes deep undercover in the world of arms trafficking when two agents — played by Jason Statham and Jude Law — get in trouble, and works to head off a global disaster.
Mega-disaster epic “San Andreas,” which topped box office sales in its debut two weekends ago at $54.6 million, was in third place as the blockbuster summer season gathers pace at $11 million, according to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.
The big-budget spectacular stars Dwayne Johnson as a rescue pilot teaming up with his estranged wife to rescue their daughter after temblors unleash chaos on Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The film’s title refers to a much-feared, major geological fault in California.
Fourth place went to the new flick “Insidious: Chapter 3,” at $7.3 million
It is a prequel to the story of a family connected to the spirit world, and here a psychic contacts the dead to help a teen targeted by a supernatural entity.
“Pitch Perfect 2″ came in fifth at $6.0 million.
Starring Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, the musical comedy sequel follows the fortunes of the Barden Bellas singing team as they chase international success after being banned from the competitive circuit.
“Entourage” — adapted from an HBO TV sitcom about an actor and his childhood buddies living the high life in Hollywood — was sixth with $4.3 million in revenue.
It stars Adrian Grenier playing A-list movie star Vince Chase.
“Mad Max: Fury Road,” the fourth film of the iconic “Mad Max” franchise and the first in 30 years, dropped to seventh place, taking in $4.1 million.
Superhero blockbuster “Avengers: Age of Ultron” scored $3.6 million.
In ninth place was Disney’s “Tomorrowland,” the sci-fi adventure drama starring George Clooney. It cashed in $3.4 million.
Rounding out the top 10 was “Love & Mercy,” a portrait of Beach Boys leader Brian Wilson and his journey to success.
